General dentistry in Jordan Springs and Penrith

General dentistry is the everyday work that keeps problems small — check-ups, cleans, fillings, and the repairs that follow when something breaks. Most of what we do sits here, and most of it is easier, cheaper and less involved when it's caught early rather than left.

How we work

New patient appointments are an hour, not fifteen minutes. That's long enough to examine properly, take the X-rays we need, and talk through what we find without rushing you into a decision. If you need treatment you'll get it in writing, with the options and what each would cost, before anything is booked. If something can reasonably be watched rather than treated, we'll say so — a plan that says "leave that one alone for now" is a legitimate plan. We're open Saturdays, and we claim through HICAPS at the counter so you only pay the gap.

Common Questions

Find answers to frequently asked questions about Omega Dental System's modern care, advanced technology, and patient-first treatment philosophy.

How often should I come in?

Every six months suits most people. If your gums are healthy and you've had no problems for years, twelve months may be enough. If you're prone to decay or gum disease, more often. We'll tell you what your mouth needs rather than applying a rule.

A full examination of teeth, gums, bite and soft tissues, the X-rays needed to see between and below, photographs if useful, and a conversation about what you want. You leave knowing what's going on and what the options are, and the appointment is 1 hour long.

We claim through HICAPS at the counter, so your rebate comes off on the spot and you only pay the gap. What you get back depends on your level of cover and your annual limit.

Yes. We see children of all ages, and we'd rather their first visit be a friendly look around than an emergency.

Very common, and not something we'll lecture you about. Come in, we'll find out where things stand, and we'll put together a plan in an order that makes sense — urgent first, the rest staged.
